Sponsorship Adverts

This part of our blog will contain the research and planning in relation to our sponsorship advert. Here we will show a few examples of sponsorship adverts, a small storyboard for our sponsorship advert and an evaluation of our sponsorship advert.

A sponsorship advert is much smaller in duration compared to a standard advertisement, and it will much more to the point. The advertisement will be sponsoring a certain television programme, this certain television programme will be funded by our product. Sponsorship sequences always have a tag line by them, this will anchor the sequence making it a noticeable as am advertisement. A lot of sponsorship advertisements use graphics and sound, this enhances the message of selling the appropriate product.

The average time for the sponsorship sequence is 10 seconds, clearly we can see by this time average that this type of advert is extremely brief. As I have said before, sponsorship adverts are straight to the point and have two main targets. The first is to make sure that the addressee knows what company is sponsoring, and the second main target is to make it clear what the programme actually is. Once these two main targets are essential when making a sponsorship advert and we will always think about these when creating our own sponsorship advert.
